Homelessness

Washington has the 6th highest rate of homelessness nationwide, impacting our entire community. We must support our homeless residents, but also involve our community in decision-making. The former Silver Cloud Hotel was converted into a homeless outreach program without notifying the community, causing concern over transparency. Homelessness can lead to negative consequences like drug trade, mental illness, and poverty, affecting local businesses, school safety, and residential areas. As your representative, I will ensure community-driven solutions by listening to your concerns and suggestions before making decisions. By providing tools for financial independence, we strengthen both individuals and our community.
