她尤其反对DEI(Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion,多元性、平等和包容性)的过度推广。

(Lynn Trinh):

From China to the United States: A Journey of Growth and Struggle

Lynn Trinh remembers the time when she first came to the United States in middle school. It was a brand new world, a country full of infinite possibilities but also full of challenges. Her parents, with hopes for the future, brought her to this strange country to look for new opportunities.

At first, she felt out of place due to language barriers and cultural differences at school, but she did not back down. Instead, Dai Lin was full of enthusiasm for learning, knowing that education was the key to changing one's destiny. Through unremitting efforts, she not only obtained a degree in architecture, but also developed a strong interest in American history and culture.

However, Dai Lin never forgot her roots. Although she lives in the United States, she still maintains her love for Chinese culture and passes this passion on to her children. Dai Lin believes that as the second generation of immigrant families, children must learn to integrate into American society while maintaining their cultural identity. This balance is particularly important in her family life, especially after she became a mother.

(Dai Lin with her husband and three children)

Dai Lin and her husband are a hardworking couple. Not only are they busy with their respective jobs, they also raise three children together. As a mother, Dai Lin pays great attention to her children's education. She hopes that her children can thrive in the United States, a country full of opportunities, while also inheriting their cultural traditions. In order to help her children better understand their cultural background, Dai Lin has been teaching Chinese in the Chinese community for more than a decade and has been a volunteer to spread Chinese culture in the community. This has not only helped her own children, but also given many children from Chinese families the opportunity to come into contact with and understand the essence of Chinese culture.

As her children grew up, Dai Lin never stopped serving the community. She served on the Redmond Arts and Culture Committee and participated in planning and organizing many community cultural activities. Through these activities, Dai Lin not only helped the Chinese community integrate into mainstream society, but also built a bridge for the exchange of Eastern and Western cultures. Under her promotion, Redmond's cultural activities have become more and more diverse. Many residents have learned about Chinese culture and art through these activities, and have a deeper understanding of multiculturalism.

Extreme policies led her to run for office: restoring parental rights and quality education, opposing affirmative action and DEI

As a mother, Dai Lin gradually realized that the role of the government in education and family life was changing while raising her children. She witnessed some policies implemented in schools, especially those related to gender identity and gender transition education, which made her feel deeply disturbed. Dai Lin believes that children do not have enough judgment when they are young, especially on complex issues such as gender identity, and parents should be the core role in helping children make these major decisions. However, some state government policies deprive parents of their right to participate in these issues. For example, the SB5599 bill allows minors to undergo gender transition surgery without the knowledge of their parents. Dai Lin was deeply shocked. She believed that such a policy not only violated the basic rights of parents, but also may have an irreversible impact on the future of their children. She could not imagine what kind of harm it would bring to the family if her children made such a major and possibly wrong decision because of confusion while growing up, and she had no way of knowing it.

In Dai Lin's view, the primary task of education should be to cultivate children's independent thinking ability and character, rather than influencing their worldview through political issues. She is particularly opposed to the excessive promotion of DEI (Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion). She believes that such policies use gender and race as selection and education criteria in schools, ignoring traditional American values and selection criteria based on personal ability. This is not only not conducive to the fairness of education, but also creates an unfair competitive environment for truly excellent and competent candidates.

Dai Lin pointed out that the DEI policy enforced by the government is not only problematic in the field of education, but also has a negative impact in the workplace. Companies are forced to select and manage employees based on gender and racial differences rather than market demand and fair competition. This practice violates the efficiency principle of the company and distorts the fair competition environment in the market. Dai Lin believes that what should really be encouraged is fair competition based on ability, talent and work performance, rather than relying on racial or gender diversity indicators to measure a person's value.

Recently, Dai Lin has noticed that some people in some Chinese communities have deliberately distorted her views on DEI in an attempt to mislead voters. In response, Dai Lin said that she firmly supports equal opportunities and fair competition, but opposes any mandatory policies that use gender or race as the only criteria. She hopes that through this campaign, voters will have a clearer understanding of her true position on this issue and ensure that everyone can succeed in education and employment based on their own abilities and efforts, rather than because of mandatory diversity policies.

Through Dai Lin’s advocacy, she hopes to restore respect for traditional values in education and ensure that every student has the opportunity to develop their potential in a fair environment without being disturbed by external political pressures or social issues.

(Summer camp organized by Dai Lin)

Restoring community safety, encouraging business to thrive, and reducing government regulations and taxes

On the issue of public safety, Dai Lin is particularly concerned about the many restrictive laws passed by the state government, especially HB 1054 and HB 1579. These laws restrict the police's ability to enforce the law in emergency situations, especially when chasing suspects and using certain necessary law enforcement methods. The police have to face more restrictions. This situation has led to an increase in community crime rates and a gradual decline in residents' sense of security. Dai Lin believes that the government should support law enforcement agencies rather than weaken their power through restrictive laws.

In addition, Dai Lin also paid special attention to the state government's sanctuary state policy (SB 5497). She believes that this policy hinders the cooperation between the state government and federal immigration law enforcement agencies, especially in combating illegal immigration and drug trafficking. The implementation of this policy has enabled many illegal immigrants to obtain opportunities to work and live in Washington State, which has not only exacerbated the resource shortage in the state, but also made the spread of illegal drugs more difficult to control. She particularly mentioned that the spread of drugs such as fentanyl in recent years has posed a serious threat to the lives and safety of young people, and the sanctuary state policy has made the drug problem more difficult to solve.

In the face of these problems, Dai Lin called on the government to adopt more pragmatic policies, not only to protect the rights of legal immigrants, but also to ensure public safety and law enforcement. She stressed that although immigrants should be sympathetic, policies must find a balance between protecting immigrants' rights and ensuring public safety. She called for stricter laws to prevent the influx of illegal immigrants and to strengthen the crackdown on drug trafficking.

Give the public the right to choose energy, especially natural gas, rather than government mandates

Dai Lin's campaign is not only to improve the current social environment, but also to restore the traditional values of Washington State. In her opinion, in recent years, the state government has taken a series of extreme measures in environmental protection, energy policy and economic development. Although these measures were originally well-intentioned, they have actually had a significant negative impact on economic development and personal freedom.

She specifically mentioned that HB 1589 prohibits new natural gas pipeline connections in Washington State, which means that new homes and commercial buildings will not be able to use natural gas and must rely on electricity. The implementation of this policy not only increases construction costs, but also deprives residents of their freedom to choose energy. Dai Lin believes that this restrictive energy policy has a particularly large impact on small and medium-sized enterprises and ordinary households because they often cannot afford the high electricity costs. In her opinion, the government should not force people to use what energy, but let the market determine the best energy choice.

In the housing rental market, Dai Lin also criticized many policies of the state government. She pointed out that laws such as HB 1236 and SB 5600 overprotect the rights of tenants and weaken the rights of landlords, causing many landlords to be reluctant to enter the rental market, which in turn exacerbated the shortage of housing supply and led to rising rents. She believes that the government should balance the interests of landlords while protecting the rights of tenants to ensure the healthy development of the housing market.

From the community to the Legislative Yuan: Speak up for the community and promote policies that benefit the people

Before deciding to run for the 48th District of Washington State, Dai Lin had already accumulated rich experience in serving the community. As a member of the Redmond Arts and Culture Commission, she actively promoted the development of community culture and brought Chinese culture into mainstream society through her own efforts. She knows that culture is an important link between different ethnic groups, and the exchange of multiculturalism can not only enhance understanding, but also strengthen the cohesion of the community.

However, in the process of community service, Dai Lin gradually realized that many government policies were having a negative impact on people's daily lives, especially in the fields of education, public safety and economy. She saw that the state government had passed some restrictive laws that not only weakened the power of law enforcement agencies, but also increased the burden on small businesses and families. She decided not to just be a bystander, but to directly speak for the community and promote policy changes through political participation.

Dai Lin's campaign journey was not easy. As a female and Asian candidate, she faced not only political challenges, but also social prejudice and doubt. However, these difficulties did not make her back down. She believed that her campaign was not only to fight for a seat, but also to represent voters who had the same demands as her and let their voices be heard in the state legislature.

Her campaign team visited door to door, communicated with voters, explained her policy proposals, and listened to the needs and concerns of the community. Through these face-to-face exchanges, Dai Lin found that many voters shared the same confusion and anxiety as her, especially dissatisfaction with the current government's policy of excessive intervention in personal life.

(During the campaign, Dai Lin and her team knocked on more than 10,000 voters' doors)

Speaking for the people of Washington: Linda Dai's vision

Winning a seat and increasing the right to speak out is only one of Dai Lin's goals. Her greater wish is to encourage the general public to pay more attention to the political environment in which we live through participation in politics. Through citizen movements, she can promote changes in government policies and bring a safer, freer and more prosperous future to families and communities in Washington State. She believes that by restoring traditional values and common-sense policies, residents of Washington State can regain the rights and freedoms they deserve.

Dai Lin's campaign is rooted in her deep feelings for her family, community and country. She hopes to promote more transparent and fair government through her efforts, so that the voice of every voter can be heard in the state legislature. She believes that only through an open and transparent legislative process can we ensure that the rights of every family are protected and every child can grow up in a safe and free environment.

As a mother, community leader, and candidate, Dai Lin's campaign journey has just begun, but she has already laid a solid foundation for future change. She looks forward to bringing a better tomorrow to Washington State through the support of voters and her own unremitting efforts.

appendix

Lynn Trinh, candidate for Washington State Representative in the 48th Legislative District:

I immigrated to the United States with my parents when I was in junior high school, and I quickly learned to accept American principles and pursue my own ambitions. After work, I raised three children with my Vietnamese overseas Chinese husband and often encouraged them to cherish everything this country has to offer us.

Since my first child was born, I have made it my priority to serve the school and the community. With a passion for the community, I served on the Arts and Culture Commission of the City of Redmond. With a passion for traditional Chinese culture, I volunteered as a teacher of Chinese classical literature and culture for more than a decade. With a passion for the next generation’s political participation, I founded the Seattle chapter of the Asian Pacific American Alliance (APAPA), and with a commitment to the rights of children and parents, I served on the board of directors of the Moms for Liberty chapter.

In recent years, I have become increasingly aware of the impact of intrusive government policies on people's daily lives, especially in the areas of education, the economy, and public safety. The government lacks transparency in legislation and policies and no longer upholds our rights and freedoms. I know I need to serve in a new arena - a candidate for the state legislature in the 48th Legislative District. This campaign is rooted in addressing the many pressing issues we face and advocating for policies that prioritize restoring our freedoms. As your representative, I will bring transparency, justice, and common sense back to legislative duties. I am listening to you and sincerely looking forward to your vote.

Dai Lin's main political views

The 48th Legislative District is one of the 49 legislative districts in Washington State. It is mainly located in the eastern part of the state between the two lakes, including Kirkland, Bellevue, Redmond, Medina, and Clyde Hill. I am running for the position of State Representative, one of the two representatives in each legislative district, representing the 48th Legislative District in the state-level House of Representatives to vote on various issues and bills.

We are facing many problems in Washington state right now, including education, parental rights, social security, economic depression, etc. In these years of policies, people have gradually lost their individual rights and freedom of choice. My goal is to represent the interests of voters and individual rights and freedom of choice again, and serve the voters of the 48th district and implement better laws for Washington state in the state legislature.

Restoring Parental Rights : Parents have the exclusive right and responsibility to raise their children – including educational and social issues. This birthright does not belong to a government agency, and I will actively support and draft legislation that supports parental rights.

Restore quality education : Educational institutions need to teach the next generation traditional American values and the spirit of the Constitution. Public education should focus on providing teachers with resources to offer more academic subjects such as reading, writing, mathematics, history, and civic education. In addition, throughout their academic careers, students should acquire certain life skills, including financial literacy, interpersonal skills, and social knowledge.

Restoring Public Safety : The most important role of government is to ensure public safety, without which individual rights cannot be protected. By ensuring the safety of our citizens, we will once again enjoy a more peaceful and prosperous society. On the legislative front, I support our law enforcement officers, build police facilities , implement effective crime prevention programs, encourage neighborhood involvement, and provide emergency response resources.

Reduce Government Control and Taxes : For decades, there has been less and less transparency about government taxes and spending, while regulations and taxes have continued to increase with little success. Very little is spent on defending the individual rights to live, work, and be free. I will be a champion for the citizens of Washington by supporting and defending these rights.

RESTORING CIVIL LIBERTIES : America was founded on the idea that we are endowed with unalienable rights by our Creator. These rights are outlined in both the U.S. Constitution and the Washington State Constitution, but our legislatures have repeatedly enacted laws that infringe upon them. I will fight to restore civil liberties and rights to the people of Washington State.
